Terms & Conditions

  • When we have received your booking we will instantly send you a confirmation email.
  • It is the responsibility of the client to inform CheckinMiami.com if they do not receive the confirmation email. Please contact: miami@suricata-travel.com.
  • Within 24 hours the landlord will confirm the apartment's availability and the send you your reservation contract. All successful bookings result in a reservation contract signed between the landlord and yourself.
  • If you agree to the reservation contract the landlord shall charge your credit card for the security deposit. If there is a problem with your card, the landlord will contact you for details of a different card. If this is not possible, the landlord will cancel your reservation and notify by email.

Security Deposit

  • All our properties require a security deposit which is paid at the time you make the reservation and is fully refundable within 5 business days of your departure assuming the property or its contents has not been damaged.

Included in Full Payment

  • It includes the rental payment, taxes, administration, cleaning and maintenance fees.

Included in the Rent

  • A fully furnished apartment, condo or house with cable or satellite, basic telephone system, toiletries and linens. Pool and internet connection if applicable. Cribs upon request. No daily cleaning.

Modes of Payments

  • Payment is made via bank transfer, cash or cashier’s check. Credit cards are only be used to pay apartments’ security deposit after signing a credit card authorization.

Taxes

  • The taxes you pay on Miami Beach properties consist of 13 % (7% Florida State Sales Tax, 3% Miami Beach Resort Tax and 3% Dade County Resort Tax). The properties outside Miami Beach consist of 7% Florida State Sales Tax and 3% Dade County Resort Tax. Taxes will not be charged if property is rented over a 6 month period.

Full Payment Due Date

  • Full payment of the rental property is to be paid 30 days before you are scheduled to arrive.

Cancellation

  • Should you wish to cancel your reservation, you can do so by clicking the cancel link you will find in your confirmation email.
  • All apartment bookings made at CheckinMiami.com are issued with a Booking Reference Number, you will receive this in your confirmation email. This is your reference number with CheckInMiami.com, please use this reference in all communications with CheckinMiami.com. If you lose this number, you can contact us at miami@suricata-travel.com.
  • CheckinMiami.com sells apartment accommodation from an inventory supplied by each landlord, and does not over-sell that inventory. CheckinMiami.com does not accept any liability for unavailability of apartments caused by the landlord's over-selling their own apartment inventory.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to book apartments on CheckinMiami.com
